About us

If you want a job done well, employ an expert. We, in Leapfrog Communications, are experts in our field and bring a total of more than 60 years’ experience – most of it with the BBC – to our business.

Eimear O’Callaghan
Eimear’s career in journalism took her from being a reporter with ‘The Irish News’ in Belfast, to being Assistant Editor of BBC Radio Foyle in Derry; in between, she was employed as a radio and television journalist with RTE in Dublin.

As Head of News at Radio Foyle, she led the news team to a prestigious Gold Award from the Sony Radio Academy in 2000, and to a succession of other awards in the following years.

She continues to work as a freelance writer and has contributed a number of features to ‘The Irish Times’.

Paul McFadden
Paul began his journalistic career with ‘The Derry Journal’. However, it was through a distinguished broadcasting career with the BBC that he became one of the best known voices in the North West.

When Radio Foyle’s ‘Morning Programme’ scooped its Gold Award, the Sony Radio Academy judges described him as “a superb presenter who clearly has a passion for his work.”

Paul is highly respected as an experienced and independent chairperson and is increasingly in demand as a speaker or host at public events.

He is currently featuring as a commentator on BBC Northern Ireland’s politics programme, ‘The View’.”
